Pipe Shoe Support for Power Plant is built for steam, feedwater, blowdown, condensate, and auxiliary piping systems in thermal, combined cycle, and cogeneration facilities. The design uses a contoured pipe cradle that matches the outside diameter of the carrier pipe, a vertical web plate that resists bending, and a flat base plate with either slotted or standard bolt holes. Standard material is ASTM A36 carbon steel, but A106 Grade B or A53 Grade B pipe segments are available for direct contact with high-temperature lines. The shoe height, base width, and web thickness are selected from project load tables to prevent overstress at design temperature and hydrostatic test conditions. Welding is performed by qualified procedures, and each shoe is dimensionally checked for base flatness, web alignment, and cradle radius. Optional attachments include PTFE slide plates, guide plates, and hold-down lugs. For aggressive environments, stainless steel shoes or fully encapsulated corrosion-resistant coatings can be specified.
