Refinery Variable Spring Hanger is a variable spring support device specially designed for refineries. It provides elastic support through pre-compressed cylindrical helical springs, and the supporting force adjusts linearly with the change of spring compression during pipeline thermal displacement.

Selection criteria (prioritize when meeting the following conditions):

▶  Pipeline vertical thermal displacement ≤ 50mm

▶  System allowable load change rate ≤ 25%

▶  Non-sensitive equipment connection (not directly connected to steam turbines, compressors, etc.)

▶  Pursue project cost optimization and balance performance and investment

In new refinery projects, about 80% of normal and medium temperature pipelines can adopt variable spring hangers. Compared with constant force solutions, it can significantly reduce procurement costs while fully meeting working condition requirements.
