Spring supports don’t work in isolation. They’re almost always part of a bigger support arrangement. A typical setup includes rigid pipe supports or pipe shoes to carry the weight, while the spring unit handles the vertical thermal movement. When you need to support a cold line, we often combine the spring assembly with pre-insulated pipe supports to prevent condensation and ice buildup at the support point. Many clients also call these by a different name — spring hangers — especially when the unit is a top-mounted hanging type. Same product family, just a different mounting style.

Q1: Variable or constant — how do I decide?
If your pipe displacement isn’t huge and a load variation of, say, 10-25% is okay, a variable spring support will work fine and cost less. When the attached equipment has a strict allowable nozzle load (typical on turbine inlets, compressor connections, or reactor piping), go with a constant spring support. Send us your stress isometrics or displacement data, and we’ll recommend the right model — no charge for that.
Q2: What load capacities and travel ranges can you supply?
For variable spring supports, our standard range covers a few hundred kilograms up to over 20 metric tons per unit. Constant spring supports can go well beyond 30 tons for heavy-walled lines. Travel: typically 0–150 mm for variable units, and up to 300 mm or more for constant types. Custom travel ranges and load settings are routine for us.
Q3: How long does delivery take?
Stock and semi-finished components: 20–25 days. Fully customized orders: 30–40 days. If your project is on a tight schedule, talk to our sales team early — we can often rearrange production slots to meet critical deadlines.
Q4: How do you pack these for export?
Smaller units go into fumigated wooden crates. Larger assemblies are bolted onto steel pallets or welded frames with waterproof wrapping. We ship regularly to ports in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and South America. We haven’t had a single shipping damage claim in the last three years.
Q5: Can you show us project references?
Yes. We’ve supplied spring supports and complete pipe hanger packages for combined-cycle power plants in the Middle East, nickel processing facilities in Indonesia, chemical plants in Brazil, and conventional island piping in Chinese nuclear projects. Every spring support that leaves our Yangzhou factory goes through these checks:

We attach a test report and material certificates inside the shipment envelope. Third-party witness inspection by SGS, BV, or TÜV is available if your contract requires it.
