Our Painted Carbon Steel Pipe Shoe is a cost-effective solution for indoor and outdoor carbon steel lines that require a durable painted finish. For high-pressure gathering and transmission lines, the Pipe Shoe Support for Oil and Gas configuration provides reinforced base plates and optional cradles to handle cyclic loading and thermal expansion. In crude and vacuum units, the Pipe Shoe Support for Refinery design resists chloride attack and maintains dimensional stability in high-temperature service. For aggressive chemical exposure and frequent wash-down areas, the Pipe Shoe for Petrochemical Plant version can be supplied in stainless steel or with a heavy-duty epoxy topcoat.


The Corrosion Resistant Pipe Shoe is fabricated from structural steel plate with options in ASTM A36, A572 Grade 50, A240 Type 304/316 stainless steel, or a carbon steel core with metallized coating. Standard configurations include a contoured saddle, vertical web plates, and a slotted base plate, all welded under a qualified procedure. Heights are commonly supplied from 100 mm to 600 mm, while the saddle radius is matched to pipe diameters from 2 in. NPS through 48 in. NPS. Protective systems include hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM A123/A153, fusion-bonded epoxy to AWWA C213, and a two-part polyurethane finish for offshore and coastal environments. For insulated piping, the shoe can be fabricated with a taller cradle height and optional vapor barrier supports. Load capacities range from 5 kN to 180 kN per support, with finite element analysis available for high-load or high-temperature applications. Each shoe is traceable to heat number and supplied with mill test reports, weld maps, and NDE documentation when specified.
