For outdoor installations, the steel base is protected by hot-dip galvanizing or an epoxy coating system with a minimum dry film thickness of 80 µm. For installation, align the PTFE surface with the upper slide plate and verify that the full contact area is available under all operating conditions. Anchor bolts should be torqued according to project specifications, and the base plate should be leveled before grouting.
