Guillotine Damper

The Guillotine Damper uses a robust sliding plate to provide Class VI shut-off for flue gas, hot air, and dusty-gas ducts. Available in carbon or stainless steel, it supports temperatures up to 550°C with manual, electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuation for reliable boiler isolation.

Slide gates (knife-gate isolation valves) are used for complete isolation of flue gas and air ducts. Featuring a sliding plate design, they provide zero-leakage isolation when fully closed and are commonly used for flow isolation during boiler maintenance.

Suitable media: Flue gas, hot air, dust-laden gas

Operating temperature: ≤420°C (standard version); ≤550°C (high-temperature version)

Common Materials: Q235B / Q355B; High-temperature options include 16Mn, SS304, SS316L
